Is this an original painting, or a print?

This is a fine art print — an open-edition, museum-grade paper reproduction of an original painting by Aigana Gali. It is not signed or numbered. Aigana's original paintings are gallery-represented; you can see her full body of work and current representation at aiganagali.com.

Is this the same as Aigana's gallery-represented work?

No — and that's intentional, not a limitation. Behind the Canvas is the only place to shop open-edition, museum-grade paper prints of Aigana's work. Her original paintings are represented internationally through galleries; you can see her full portfolio and exhibition history at aiganagali.com. This shop exists to make her work accessible in a different, more affordable format — not to replace or compete with the originals.

What's the paper and print quality?

Museum-grade matte paper, 250gsm, acid-free, FSC-certified. Each print has been colour-tested and fine-tuned against the original painting, so what you receive is as close a match to the artwork as possible.

What size should I choose, and will it fit a standard frame?

Available in 45×60cm and 60×80cm — both standard European frame sizes, so no custom framing is needed.

What's the difference between the border options?

"No White Border" prints the image edge to edge. "With White Border" adds a white margin around the image — useful if you want a gallery-style mat look or plan to frame it a certain way. "With White Border & Title" adds the same border with the piece's title printed beneath it, similar to a museum label.

How is it shipped, and what if it arrives damaged?

Prints ship rolled in a protective tube. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days with a photo. For orders shipped to Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK, or the US, we'll send a replacement or a refund. For other destinations, please get in touch and we'll do what we can to help. As prints are made to order, we're unable to accept general returns. Colour can also appear slightly different in person than on screen, since every monitor displays colour differently — this isn't a print defect, just a natural part of viewing art digitally before it's in your hands.

How long will my print take to arrive?

Delivery typically takes 3–10 business days, depending on your location — many regions benefit from local production, which speeds things up. You'll see an estimated delivery window at checkout before you complete your order.
